Q. Can we use a non-Microsoft DLL?
Posted: Wednesday, March 22, 2006 2:52 PM (PST)

Full Question: When we developed our system, we found a DLL file that can reduce the complexity of our program. But it's not a DLL given by Microsoft, it was developed by some other people. Can we use it and just add the author's link to our References, or do we have to do the work without using the DLL?

Answer: You can use the DLL. Just put a brief note in your report about what libraries you’re using, and what they do.
