Power Saving Mode
Posted: Monday, April 10, 2006 5:46 AM (PST)

We want our device to go into a power saving mode during times of inactivity. Also, in this mode we want it to wake up at regular intervals (of a few minutes) and check some i/o device. We would like to know- * whether such a power saving mode exists * (how) can we switch to this mode programmatically * can it also wake up at regular intervals using a timer * how much power does it consume in the saving mode * how much power does the ebox consume in normal mode * how long does it take to resume to the normal mode Thanks!

Call SetSystemPowerState to change the systems power mode. Refer to the help for this function for a list of standard power modes.
